Get Smart - The Complete Collection - Time Life/HBO

Would you believe?...In a project that earned rave reviews, Giant Interactive designed and authored Get Smart: The Complete Collection, a DVD compendium of all 138 episodes of the well-loved comedy series. The brainchild of iconic comedians Mel Brooks and Buck Henry, Get Smart starred Don Adams as the bumbling but effective secret agent Maxwell Smart, and Barbara Feldon as Agent 99.

At the DVD & Beyond Summit Awards, held in Los Angeles, the collection earned the prestigious title of "Best TV DVD of the Year". Critics hailed the DVD across the board.

“This collection is so complete that I begin this review with its rating of 10 out of a possible five stars,” said Monstersandcritics.com. The review of DVDtalk agreed, “I have written over 300 reviews, and Get Smart is the only that that I feel has deserved the prestigious "DVD Talk Collector's Series" rating. This collection is so complete that not recognizing its quality would be a crime.

Jeff Peisch of Time Life said the collection of 138 episodes and 25 DVDs represented a huge undertaking for his company.

“Giant completed the project on a very tight deadline,” Peisch said. “Giant's combination of creativity and production expertise is unparalleled, and Time Life could not have done the Get Smart project without Giant's invaluable contribution.”

The box set contains all five seasons of the Emmy® Award-winning series, transferred from restored video. The collection includes rare interviews with cast members, thoughtful commentaries, a special feature on the show’s spy gadgets and more.
